The Apple Maps team includes skilled engineers, GIS specialists, data scientists, program managers, quality engineers, and our world-class operations and collections specialists. The Maps Organizational Operations team deploys and manages engagement and development programs as well as produces content and experiences that support the global Apple Maps team. Our goal is to empower each team member with alignment to our organizational objectives, access to the vast resources of Apple and connections to the incredible community of people they work with. Together, we build the world's best maps, applications, and services for our customers around the globe. Our organizational operations program manager is a unique role for someone experienced in the day-to-day needs of a modern global technology organization that can drive a variety of programs with a diverse group of contributors. The ideal candidate could be a reformed ePM with a passion for organizational culture or a hyper-organized culture champion who has experience aligning large groups around a shared vision. Our team works directly for our senior leadership in service of a team of brilliant and passionate Apple Maps team members.

Description

The primary focus of this role is to create and deliver engaging, high-impact content and experiences that connect and inspire a global team. This includes producing videos, photography, newsletters, case studies, wikis, events, showcases, and presentations to support internal communications and training programs for the Apple Maps organization. You'll work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and production teams to craft meaningful stories and impactful events that align with organizational goals and values. You'll also lead storytelling initiatives that drive engagement and foster alignment, leveraging a mix of technical expertise, creative vision, and collaborative skills. Your work will empower team members across the organization by keeping them connected to key priorities, resources, and community networks. In this role, you will: * Plan and execute internal communications content, including videos, photography, newsletters, presentations, and wikis, to share business priorities, values, and key accomplishments. * Produce dynamic events, such as all-hands meetings, showcases, case-study presentations, and communications forums, collaborating with senior stakeholders, vendors, and production teams. * Develop and manage storytelling initiatives, leveraging creative techniques to deliver compelling narratives that engage a diverse global audience. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, Training, and Engagement, to amplify their programs and support organizational goals. * Execute volunteer and community-focused programs, fostering team connections while reflecting Apple's values and commitment to social responsibility. * Create high-quality multimedia content, including videos and graphics, using tools such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, and Keynote. * Lead program documentation and project management, ensuring alignment with creative vision, stakeholder goals, and production timelines. * Continuously refine communications strategies using storytelling techniques, audience feedback, and metrics to maximize impact.

Minimum Qualifications

  • * Proven ability to write clear, engaging, and impactful content.
  • Demonstrated skills in storytelling and photography to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Experience with audio-visual equipment, including cameras, sound, and lighting.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere) and basic graphic design tools.
  • Strong project management skills, using tools like Asana or Trello to handle multiple tasks and timelines.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing events with attention to detail.
  • Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills in cross-functional team settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Video Production Expertise: Skilled in motion graphics, cinematic techniques, and color grading to create visually stunning video content.
  • Creative Direction Leadership: Drive the vision and execution of multimedia projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and audience needs.
  • Event Management: Successfully lead large-scale, high-profile global events, overseeing all aspects from concept to delivery.
  • Graphic Design Mastery: Develop visually dynamic, professional-quality materials for both digital and print media using industry-leading tools.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration Skills: Partner seamlessly with diverse teams, including engineering, design, and HR, to ensure cohesive and aligned messaging.
  • Strategic Storytelling for Change: Craft communication strategies that inspire engagement and drive organizational transformation.
  • Technical Writing Proficiency: Translate complex technical concepts into simple, engaging, and audience-friendly content for various platforms.
  • Data-Driven Communication: Use analytics and audience insights to evaluate the effectiveness of content and continuously refine strategies for maximum impact.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses - including tuition.
