Description

- Work with multi-functional teams within HWTech organization including Platform Architecture, Design and Verification, Silicon Validation and Software Engineering to enable high quality development and delivery of Video Codec IPs in Apple Silicon. - Collaborate with Software, Systems, Architecture, Power and Performance, FPGA prototyping, SoC integration teams to enable IP integration in time for SoC tapeout. - Quickly adapt to dynamic SoC execution lifecycles and successfully manage requirements and changes. - Extensive planning, prioritizing and driving engineering tasks to meet demanding product launch schedules. - Periodic clear and concise communication of IP status to Apple executives with focused tracking, organizing and reporting of program risks, status, and options for resolution. - In-depth understanding of technical issues associated with Codec IP blocks and leading debug to enable resolution of issues by bringing together key multi-functional partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering and 10+ years relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of Silicon industry experience.
  • 2+ years of Design Management or Engineering Program Management experience.

  • Phenomenal leadership with a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience working in a dynamic multi-disciplined engineering environment, strong at multi-tasking.
  • Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.
  • Dedication to own/drive program planning and development using well-defined metrics.

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
