Apple's Immigration Specialist supports immigration programs and assists foreign nationals with the immigration process.. As our Immigration Specialist, you can expertly make independent decisions and recommendations using the framework provided, and actively supports multiple initiatives within the AMR Immigration Program, e.g. Parking, H-1B, SWA and FNIV management. You will closely partner and collaborate with the Apple Immigration team and Apple Business Partners to offer immigration initiative expertise and solutions. The ideal candidate has prior immigration experience and a strong dedication to customer service. They are skilled at solving problems autonomously while applying good judgment to make key immigration decisions, comfortable managing deadline pressure, ambiguity and change related to the ever changing immigration landscape, Escalating issues when vital and advocating for responsible solutions to immigration problems

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of immigration experience with an understanding of US Immigration programs and laws
  • Able to take a holistic view of an initiative and evaluate all of the interdependencies and complexities to make positive recommendations
  • Problem solving capabilities in time sensitive and often personal matters
  • Strong ability to apply a consistent governance of standards across the program
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risk
  • Effectively communicates with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds; the ability to listen and to build a collaborative relationship
  • Able to establish trust and rapport with foreign nationals, contributing to a seamless immigration process.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • Experience with a geographically diverse organization
  • Technical acumen, able to embrace and leverage new technology
  • Proficient knowledge in iWork suite

  • Immigration Experience
  • Risk assessment to proactively get ahead of issues rather than reacting to them
  • Attention to detail - relate initiative back to the greater program and proactively plan for next

Pay & Benefits

    At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $133,900 and $201,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
