We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Billing to oversee our billing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the function to ensure accurate and timely billing and efficient cash application.

- Oversee daily operations and workflow to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Billing Operations:
- Implement and maintain efficient billing processes and procedures.
- Review and approve invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing of all services rendered.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
Cash Application:
- Oversee the daily cash application process, ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and short payments.
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging to minimize outstanding balances.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including aging reports.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.
System and Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement new technologies and systems to enhance billing operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in managing billing and accounts receivable.
- At least 2 years of people management experience.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in billing software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $85,600 - $107,000
The actual base salary for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
