Job Overview:

As the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of the DevOps infrastructure. You will work with a team responsible for ensuring our software systems' reliability, scalability, and security, while collaborating closely with development, QA, and operations teams to automate workflows, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and streamline operations.

You will bring a wealth of experience in automation, cloud infrastructure, and best practices in DevOps, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on automation, configuration management, and cost optimization.
  • Develop and implement tools for monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance tuning of applications and infrastructure.
  • infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and redundancy across cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA) to streamline development processes.
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Implement monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (GCP preferred)
  • Proficient in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in languages such as Python, Shell, Go.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration in Linux environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
