As our SEO Manager, you will be the sole SEO expert in our team, responsible for both strategic planning and hands-on execution to grow our online presence.
What You'll Do:
- Learn about our business: Align with the Alteryx landscape, our strategy and our goals so you can effectively contribute to our business outcomes.
- Create and execute SEO strategies that leverage data analytics and focus on increasing organic search visibility and driving targeted traffic globally, including localized versions of the website.
- Identify high-value keywords and phrases to inform content creation and optimization efforts, ensuring alignment with user intent and search trends.
- Proactively identify improvements in website architecture, page speed, mobile responsiveness, schema markup, and internal linking to support crawlability and indexing.
- Capture and maintain high positions in the SERP's by regularly performing audits and optimization of existing content including title tags, meta descriptions, content structure and keyword optimizations.
- Manage off-page SEO efforts to build a high-quality backlink profile to improve domain authority and organic traffic.
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure that all new and existing web content aligns with SEO best practices and overall strategy.
- Stay aware of the latest SEO developments, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices to continually refine and improve strategies.
- Track SEO metrics, assess campaign effectiveness and use this data report regularly on SEO performance and to inform and refine future strategies.
- Focus on strategies that not only increase relevant high-quality traffic but also contribute to lead generation and revenue growth.
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of SEO experience, with a strong track record in driving traffic growth, opportunities and pipeline.
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors and SEO best practices, especially as they relate to zero-click search optimization and adapting to AI-powered search landscapes.
- Driven by curiosity for SEO and demand generation. You stay on top of emerging trends, changes in algorithms, new strategies and actively participate in the broader SEO community.
- Proficiency in SEO automation and tools like GA4, Search Console, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Hotjar, Optimizely, ScreamingFrog or similar tools.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JS and other languages as they relate to SEO
- Ability to clearly articulate the value of an SEO initiative to project stakeholders.
- Experience in SEO attribution modeling, proving the impact of organic search on pipeline and revenue.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with content, demand gen, paid media, and product teams.

Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation.
The base salary range for this role is between $110,000 - $140,000 factoring in locations such as New York, California, Texas, DC, North Carolina, and Florida. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as your relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
In addition, you may be eligible for other compensation, such as a bonus. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of other benefits, including medical, retirement, financial, wellness, time off, employee discounts, and others.
