Overview: The Manager of Sales Development will be responsible for managing a team of London-based Sales Development Representatives. The role of this group is to help drive new customer acquisition and corporate growth by qualifying inbound marketing leads and engaging in proactive and targeted outbound prospecting for the UK&I regions. The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of business development, performance management and team leadership experience, and have a proven track record of over-achieving both personal and team-based targets to make a real difference, every day.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years' business-to-business (B2B) technology and team management experience, with a focus on enterprise sales in a land and expand sales model


  • Proven track record in exceeding personal and team-based quotas and goals.


  • Solution-oriented leader with exceptional communication skills - internal and customer-facing.


  • Strong entrepreneurial drive and work ethic: Ambition and a willingness to work hard are critical attributes for this role


  • University degree preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, train, and lead the SDR team by providing coaching and mentoring - specific focus on People, Process, and Performance.


  • Regularly collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment and efficiency.


  • Work closely with the senior leadership to develop, manage and enhance key elements of the Alteryx demand generation model.


  • Contribute to in-office, winning sales culture through your unique and authentic leadership style. The expectation is that you're in the London Office Hub 2-3 days each week.


  • Leverage your knowledge of Salesforce CRM and other tech tools to manage and track team performance that delivers predictable overachievement on pipeline targets.


  • Communicate team and individual performance metrics across the business - this is a high visibility role.


  • Partner closely with our Sales Leadership team to prepare high-potential SDRs that can progress into future Sales or Retention roles.
