Job Description
Reporting to the President of Allstate Benefits, the Vice President, Product, Pricing and Analytics will be responsible for all aspects of product management including the design, delivery and maintenance of core commercial products. Leading a team with broad functional expertise this leader will drive strategy and execution of leading-edge product development and pricing to ensure the long-term growth of Allstate Benefits.

In This Role You Will:
- Drive all aspects of product management including the design, delivery and maintenance of core commercial products as well as researching, identifying and developing new products and services that meet the current and emerging needs of our commercial customers
- Bring innovative leadership to create profitable growth through line management, pricing, actuarial and state management
- Investigate marketplace and partner with operations to identify trends to implement new ideas and strategies that can give Allstate Benefits a competitive advantage.
- Invigorate and instill a culture of innovation, performance, and accountability in the business unit and build a strong talent management capability to develop existing employees and attract top outside professionals
- Accountability of country-wide product portfolios across four distinct components of the business: self-enrolled voluntary benefits and worksite voluntary benefits.
- Successfully lead geographically dispersed and remote teams, driving results through effective virtual leadership
- Motivate and provide leadership to team members and ensure the proper allocation of employees to the highest priority deliverables; ensure employees have the appropriate structure, tools, resources, required to perform their job at the highest levels
- Engage in any other duties as assigned to advance the profitable growth of Allstate's Health and Benefits business
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Development of a corresponding talent strategy to ensure Product, Pricing and Analytics have the appropriate skills and capabilities to execute against the business strategy
- Strong background in actuarial capabilities
- Ability to develop strategic pricing strategies for Voluntary Benefits
- Establish clarity of goals for operational execution
- Manage and oversee operating plan, budget, cash flow and business finances
- Partner with the other members of the Allstate organization to execute on strategies
- Ensure company objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by management and the employees
- Ensure that the business complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, best practices
- Establish, achieve, and report on milestones
What You Bring to the Table:
- Wealth of experience in voluntary benefits, which includes supplemental accident and health products.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, instinctive ability to understand and be effective in building relationships; ability to lead Managers and a large employee group of 100+ including highly skilled insurance professionals
- A growth mindset with the ability to identify areas of opportunity and improvement within the product, pricing and analytics organization.
- Relevant functional experience regarding actuarial, underwriting, distribution, marketing, service, and claims.
- A strong intellect, natural curiosity and high level of confidence in successfully scaling a line of business. Ability to establish credibility and build relationships of trust and respect.
- A strategic orientation with ability to articulate a vision for the Health and Benefits business and lead the implementation of an action plan to realize its great potential for profitable growth
- Organizational change management skills for a rapidly evolving organization, strong business acumen and an ability to partner with business unit leaders based on an appreciation for and understanding of their operations. By learning the organization, culture and processes and gaining the respect of the business' leadership team, there is opportunity to collaborate and foster an environment that thrives on change and continuous improvement
- Ability to influence and lead Allstate Benefits with the potential to advance within the organization.
- A Bachelor's degree is required. Advanced degree in business or related field is strongly preferred

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $232,000.00 - 269,500.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
