Job Description
The Financial Sr Consultant communicates financial results to business partners for key products, markets, and initiatives, develops in-depth story lines to deepen client insights, and recommends creative actions to guide strategy and operations. This role formulates financial projections to predict and track performance, diagnose potential issues, and prompt corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

Build compelling storyline for financial updates to collaborate with business partners

Isolate key drivers, quantify impacts, and forecast implications to the business recognizing how different data points fit together and integrating cross functional knowledge and/or sources

Develop and participate in effective presentations for large groups

Provide accurate, timely reports with financial insight to allow business partners to improve performance

Use analysis to influence and drive action within finance, leadership, and our business partners by using fact-based, holistic, and forward-looking perspectives to identify emerging issues and current trends, and assist in implementation of strategies

Manage analysis projects of low to moderate complexity, addressing ambiguous business issues

Variance analysis to analyze financial results and identify key variances from budget to forecast

Identify opportunities for process improvement of financial processes, tools, and reporting to enhance accuracy and efficiencies.

Prepare and present financial presentations for all levels of the organization

Provide support for month-end closing processes, reporting, and accounts payable

Collaborate with department leaders to develop budgets and forecasts

Ability to complete ad-hoc reporting and analysis as-needed by your manager

Education

4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Proficient in advanced functions of Microsoft Excel

Previous experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) or Oracle Golden (Preferred)

Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software packages such as SAP/S4, SmartView, and/or Spreadsheet Server (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $59,800.00 - 105,910.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
