Job Description
Under general supervision, the Property Subrogation Negotiation Adjuster is responsible for negotiating and settling moderately complex subrogation claims (typically, Auto/Property, or occasionally Property and Medical) through evaluating the file, determining appropriate recovery, and negotiating third-party carriers.

Key Responsibilities:
Understands and applies moderately complex medical terminology and/or product liability issues as they apply to claims and is gaining ability to recognize patterns in product failures
Monitors collection of subrogation recoveries and follows-up with third-party carrier as needed for subrogation payment
Negotiates liability and/or damages with third-party carrier on moderately complex claims, usually when liability is clear and straightforward to settle claim
Selects and hires experts to inspect evidence and help with liability analysis
Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations, and decision-making process
Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes
Qualifications:
4+ years of Related Experience
Homeowner Property Subrogation Experience Preferred
Strong Writing and Communication Skills Required
Work Location and Schedule:
- This position is a permanent remote home-based role. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States.
- Tues - Sat 8am to 5pm CST

- A dedicated workspace in your residence that is private and free from distractions
- A minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up
- Appropriate work surface and seating.

Compensation
Compensation offered for this role is $50,400.00 - 88,987.50 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
