Job Description
Our team is growing, and we are actively looking to hire a Licensing Coordinator to join our team! Reporting to the Manager, Onboarding and Licensing within the Distribution Enablement, you will be responsible for supporting Allstate Sales, Service Agents and Claims Advisors as well as compliance requirements through the coordination and execution of the end- to-end process for licensing across Canada and work closely with the Onboarding Coordinator to ensure licensees system and authority enablement and disablement transactions are completed within the prescribed timeframes. Responsible for liaising with the various regulators to ensure that agents/adjusters license process runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate and execute End-to-End National Licensing process including:
    • Gathering, tracking, reporting, annual fees, ongoing educational requirements (CE Credits), etc.
    • Monitor and sponsor all license applications and renewals, terminations, ensuring compliance with Provincial regulations and deadlines, avoiding any potential penalties or compromise of licenses.
  • Track and continually review provincial guidelines to ensure compliance and flag concerns to be addressed.
  • Partner with external licensing/regulatory bodies (i.e. FSRA, IIC, AIC, Quebec AMF, etc.), internal stakeholders (i.e. HR, Finance, Law and Regulation, Compliance); and support Manager, Licensing to keep all parties effectively informed of changes and updates.
  • Guiding existing employees to fulfill their professional development obligations.

Education

  • University degree/College diploma or equivalent work experience

Experience

  • 2+ years in an administrative role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, Visio, PPT)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Proactive approach to problem solving with strong decision-making skills
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quick changing environment
  • Knowledge working with SharePoint
  • Strong communication (verbal and written)
  • Attention to detail
  • Building relationships
  • Bilingual in English and French is mandatory.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
