HII-Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Program Manager to support USSPACECOM J2. Our Program Manager will be responsible for managing program operations to ensure production schedules are met, system resources are utilized efficiently and effectively, and proper relationships are established between customers. Our Program Manager will be responsible for cost, schedule, performance, and risk identification / mitigation on initiatives including but not limited to systems, tools, equipment, software, facilities and other activities. Other activities include:

Coordinate resolutions to production-related problems.
Managing required manpower support levels throughout the period of performance of the task order.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the profit and loss of a large complex program.
  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  • Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors.
  • Responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to program.
  • Program may require new technologies.
  • Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Develops new business or expands services with the customer.
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Directs the work of employees including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.


Minimum Qualifications
  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Demonstrates ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
  • Demonstrates analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft and techniques aligned with labor category mission.
  • Demonstrates extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners and policymaker (e.g. Undersecretary level or higher).
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance


Preferred Requirements
  • 20 years of experience relevant to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Master's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
