Summary
Huntington Ingalls Industries – Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Program Manager to support the United States Special Operations as well as US Army Pacific Commands. The Program Manager be responsible for the day to day management of the USSOCOM, USCENTCOM, & USARPAC programs including the capture and execution business opportunities. The Program Manager's responsibilities include the coordination and completion of multiple simultaneous projects delivering on-time, within Task Order (TO) scope, and within the approved budget. The Program Manager will oversee all aspects of the efforts with the primary responsibility to account for all contractor personnel, the planning of all associated tasks/missions, program execution, and product / service quality through active monitoring and controlling of all program resources. This position requires travel.

What you will do
- Fully support our mission partners by supervising and directing the daily activities of the contract team;
- Provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the TO including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance;
- Serve as the HII's primary point of contact for all TO related actions necessary to execute an effective and efficient service solution;
- Provide overall technical and financial management of tasks and milestones associated with TO agreements;
- Manage relationship and expectations of the client, other industry mission-partners, and all supporting contractor personnel;
- Evaluate progression of project milestones and budget and any necessary TO modifications to ensure mission success, service quality, and schedule / budget compliance;
- Regularly engage with key government client stakeholders.
- Responsible for all TO deliverables from developing monthly status reports to approving all invoices prior to formal submission;
- Other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for
- 8-years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; or 6-years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field;
- 3-years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing a project or program similar in size, scope, and complexity within the last 8-years.
- Experience in managing/directing military contingency operations such as special operations.
- Clearance : Must have an active SECRET clearance with the ability to possess and maintain an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI).
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from Project Management Institute (PMI) or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level III Program Management certification.
