Job Description
HII-Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is looking to hire a System Engineer at US Army TACOM Warren, Michigan area.
You will serve as the primary interface between PM Ground Sensors (GS), and Program Executive Officer Ground Combat Systems (GCS) platforms TACOM ILSC and other stakeholders at TACOM.
We are looking for self-motivated and eager candidates to serve as the principal focal point to facilitate communication and cooperation.
What you will do:
- Participate in vital on-site meetings to understand sensor needs, concerns and provide technical guidance to PM GS to resolve any potential issues.
- The successful individual will participate in integrated planning team meetings working to work program issues with platform engineers and leadership.
- Organize and coordinate working groups to foster a better working relationship and understanding of PM GS products, especially the future 3GEN FLIR timelines.

Representative tasks include:
- Assist in the preparation and participation of meetings
- Assist by acting as a conduit (information flow) between the PM GS team and the various TACOM PMs.
- Provide sensor assistance to PEO GCS Staff as necessary
- Respond to concerns and work to establish good working relationships among all stakeholders
- Maintain and forge new relationships with PEO GCS platforms
- Maintain and build better relationships with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) representatives,
- Participate in key on-site meetings to understand sensor needs, concerns and relay them back to PM GS team to resolve any potential issues
- Maintain Situational Awareness on-site and report all relevant information back to PM GS with regards to any sensor concerns/issues that may arise
- Develop better communication with key stakeholders; increase the effectiveness of the program
- Maintain situational Awareness of FMS needs and future production schedules and keep PM GS informed
What you need:
- 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
- Experience in DoD Acquisition Process
- Clearance: Must have a secret clearance.

- Working knowledge related to Ground Sensors (2 nd GEN FLIR and 3 GEN FLR).
