HII – Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is currently seeking an Information Security Analyst (Cyber Security Specialist), Senior, to support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) Integrated Command and Control (C2) and Intelligence (IC2I) Division located in California, MD.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a functional expert for planning, implementing, upgrading, or monitoring security measures for the protection of complex DoD/IC communication systems and networks.
- Provide advanced knowledge of IA policy or technical cybersecurity solutions necessary to assess system vulnerabilities for security risks and propose and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the safe operation of complex DoD/IC communication systems and networks.
- Oversee the development of system IA documentation to support certification of compliance to applicable standards including DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT), Intelligence Community Directive 705, and Intelligence Community Directive 503.
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity technologies for potential integration into multiple enterprise communication systems.
- Perform penetration testing, cyber forensics, and system security engineering to develop mitigation strategies that reduce risk for communication systems and networks with a high cyber-attack risk.
- May serve as a point of contact for the Government Project Lead (GPL) or project sponsor
- CONUS and OCONUS may be required

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or engineering discipline; computer science or IT discipline. Can be substituted with increased experience.
- Eight to ten (8-10) years of required experience, at least five (5) years of practical experience performing the foregoing functions on DoD/IC communication systems or networks.
- Background in numerous cybersecurity technologies/policy organizations
- Background in a specific cyber technology such as:
- Cross Domain Solutions
- Multi-Level Security (MLS)
- Host Based Security Systems
- Identity Management Solutions
- Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems
- Computer Hacking Forensics
- Public Key Infrastructure
- Mobile Device Management
- Wireless Security Solutions
- COMSEC
- Cryptography
- Required certification:
- (ISC)² Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)/Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)/PenTest+
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)/Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret (TS) Clearance
Preferred Requirements
- Experience with new Integrated Collaborative, Command, Control, and Communication (C3) of Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) System
- Understanding of coalition intelligence and data sharing programs, techniques, or methodologies
