Job Description
What we are looking for

Huntingtong Ingalls Industries- Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Computer Network Architect SME responsible for the design, installation, configuration, test, and repair of network and security devices. This individual should have expert-level knowledge of network architecture, engineering, design, and road mapping with experience delivering these capabilities and integration services within the DoD or IC environment.

What you will do

• Develop and deliver innovative analytical capabilities to internal and external DoD customers in direct response to mission partner requests for service, through TDLs, and other mission requirements as they develop in real time

• Facilitate the sharing of data, capabilities, and analytical methods among DoD organizations and mission partners to maximize adoption and adaptation to current and emerging threats and priorities
• Direct operations support and rapid innovation support; direct support to DoD mission partners; on-site support to mission partners; integration support; innovation support; data sciences and lifecycle data management
• Provide data-source, data-integration, and data sciences support to enable applied analytical capabilities.
• Define a methodology and continuously improve the acquisition and integration of data sources for ingestion and identify data sources and provide advice, guidance, tracking, reporting, and technical solutions for ingestion of tactical sensor and other structured and unstructured data sources into customer capabilities to support mission partners.
• Provide analytics and integration of data in order to prove out concepts and capabilities and provide data sciences support to enable processing of structured and unstructured data to derive patterns, trends, and correlations and to enable entity extraction, disambiguation, COP/CIP solutions, visualization, and other data-related support.
• Facilitate and provide technical support to mission partner efforts to develop data ingestion requirements, detailing technical specifics to support data exchanges.

What we are looking for
  • 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
  • 10 years' progressive networking experience is required including design, modeling and simulation, and security of diverse scope and scale networks.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with the design and implementation of data transport and internet protocols
  • Ability to research and resolve issues in communications systems implementations
  • Experience with emerging technologies, IoT, embedded systems, CMMC, Risk Mitigation, Zero Trust Architecture, etc.
  • 2 or more cloud security certifications
  • 8570.01 IASAE Level III certification
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret (TS) clearance with access to SCI based on a Single Source Background Investigation (SSBI).
  • A new Federal Executive Order requires that employees of Federal contractors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. Accordingly, as a condition of employment with Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption prior to starting employment.
