As a Security Consultant, you'll be the guardian of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, ensuring organizations are shielded from the ever-evolving threat landscape. Your expertise will be sought after as you assess, analyze, and implement effective security measures in customer environments, leaving no stone unturned when it comes to safeguarding their most sensitive data.
Collaboration will be your forte, as you work closely with clients to understand their unique security requirements and assess their current security posture. Armed with this knowledge, you'll provide expert guidance and recommendations on the best security practices, risk management strategies, and robust security policies that will fortify their defenses.
You won't stop at providing advice; you'll roll up your sleeves and get hands-on. Designing and implementing security controls, policies, and procedures will be your playground. You'll work alongside cross-functional teams to deploy state-of-the-art technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access controls, and encryption technologies, ensuring a comprehensive security framework.

Who You Are
Title: Security Architect - Network Security and Zero Trust Role Description:
The Security Architect plays a key role in assisting customers and sales teams in designing and promoting advanced cybersecurity solutions.
The ideal candidate is highly skilled in the Network Security space and has a deep understanding of Zero Trust security principles, IT architectures, SASE and SSE solutions, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and endpoint security.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement Zero Trust security strategies for customers.
• Work with sales and marketing to promote Zero Trust solutions.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers during all phases of the project.
• Conduct security assessments and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies.
• Design security architectures based on Zero Trust principles.
• Perform a security assessment to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Provide strategic advice on key security frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure alignment of solutions with market needs. Technical Skills Required:
• Network Security and Zero Trust: o Deep knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and principles of micro-segmentation and adaptive access.
Experience in implementing perimeter security strategies and protecting enterprise networks.
• Security Technologies and Tools: o Experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) from leading vendors on the market (e.g. Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco, Check Point).
o Advanced knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Okta, CyberArk, Microsoft Azure AD.
o Experience with endpoint security solutions, including those in the Security Service Edge (SSE) area. • Cloud and Hybrid Security Architectures and Solutions:
o Familiarity with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and SSE architectures.
o Experience with leading SASE/SSE solutions (e.g. Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access).
o Understanding of security models in cloud and hybrid infrastructures. Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage complex projects.
• Customer focus and ability to understand business requirements.
• Ability to continuously learn and certify new technologies. Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar discipline (preferred but not required).
At least 5+ years of experience in IT security, of which at least 3 years in pre-sales roles or security solutions architecture.
Suggested certifications:
CISSP (Certified Information Security Professional), • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) • Specific certifications from major NGFW vendors (e.g. Palo Alto Networks PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP Security, Check Point CCSA/CCSE)
• Specific certifications from major IAM vendors (e.g. Okta Certified Professional, CyberArk Defender, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate) • Experience with cloud security solutions. • Knowledge of Italian and European security regulations.
