Summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries - Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is seeking a qualified Naval SPY-1 Radar Systems Controller (RSC) Trainer with recent experience operating the SPY-1 radar in an operational environment. The selected candidate must be capable of providing SPY-1 radar training to Naval tacticians at AEGIS Training & Readiness Center (ATRC) located in Dahlgren,VA.
What you will do
• Direct operation of the SPY-1 radar in a laboratory environment
• Develops, organizes, and conduct training for Navy tacticians (Officers/Senior Enlisted)

• Develop and deliver training and related materials in support of ATRC/CSCS courses of instruction
• Establishe course content and objectives as required
• Conduct formal course reviews for updating curriculum to current fleet capabilities
What we are looking for
5 years current relevant experience with High School or equivalent
• Minimum three years' experience employing SPY-1 Radar in an operational environment.
• Must have experience with Aegis Combat System watch team organization of tactical operators engaged in the employment of the Aegis Weapon Systems.
• Knowledge of NETC curriculum and learning standards to include curriculum development, training certifications, course maintenance, topic learning objectives development, preparing test items, evaluating instructional materials and instructor/laboratory evaluations processes.
• Must have an active Secret Clearance
• A new Federal Executive Order requires that employees of Federal contractors and subcontractors be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by December 8, 2021. Accordingly, as a condition of employment with Technical Solutions, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, employees will be required to provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or submit documentation to be considered for and be approved for an exemption based on disability or sincerely held religious beliefs under the law.

• Equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, or military experience in support of Navy Aegis Combat Systems as an operator, instructor or maintainer in support of at sea operations.
• Navy Instructor experience
• Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualified
Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
