About the Role
The Onsite Advocate supports corporate partners by navigating the health care system and addressing escalated care and carrier issues. They provide a more extensive investigation on claims and access-to-care issues when standard methods fail. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the client and our company and strives for client satisfaction. This role will reside 100% onsite with the client in the Sandy Springs/Atlanta, GA area.
Responsibilities
- Navigating the healthcare system: Serving as an intermediary when care and carrier issues become escalated.
- Partnering with client contacts and corporate partners: Ensuring timely response to critical and non-critical Advocacy cases.
- Acting as a knowledge resource: Providing expertise on partner claims and/or access-to-care issues.
- Collecting and documenting information: Gathering pertinent information, documenting, conducting thorough research, and following up timely.
- Identifying trends: Providing management and client-ready trend analysis
- Contributing on projects: Collaborating with Advocacy managers by being a resource in implementations, training processes, and discussions with team leaders and clients.
- Assisting with special reports: Coordinating client requests when asked by team leadership and client contacts.
- Supporting client teams: Keeping up-to-date and consistent communication materials and presentations
- Managing complex cases: Aligning to complex cases for issue research, resolution, and reporting.
Requirements
- Possess 5+ years of knowledge in health plan claim processing and various medical plans (HDHP, PPO, HMO, etc.).
- Communicate knowledgeably and professionally with management, leadership, vendor and clients.
- Possess excellent customer service skills to ensure the highest level of service for partners.
- Have critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
- Understand and interpret client plan provisions.
- Complete understanding of the Advocacy services provided to the client.
- Provide individual coaching, issue research and resolution, organization, and prioritization of work
- Display confidence in taking initiative, suggesting process improvements, analyzing, creating, and explaining Advocacy reports, and reporting trends.
- Display proficient knowledge and experience in health plan claim processing, fertility, Gender affirming care, Core, Abortion and Autism services.
- Display accurate and consistent research and follow up skills.

Salary Pay Range
Minimum :
69,700 USD
Maximum :
110,600 USD
