We have an exciting onsite opportunity for a Commercial Engines Attorney to join our team at our East Hartford, Connecticut location!
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will provide day to day legal support of the Commercial Engines business, with a focus on the programs, partnerships, advanced commercial engines, and aftermarket organizations. Advise business leaders on contractual and regulatory issues in the aerospace sector. Support contractual negotiations with airframers, partners and other third parties. Draft complex commercial agreements, including partnership agreements, program agreements and joint technology development agreements. Provide partnership and joint ventures governance and administration. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years legal experience at a law firm and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, business driven, dynamic environment and have the ability to coordinate with other subject matter experts and stakeholders.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) and 10+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years of legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house
- Good standing with a state bar association and in-house counsel registration in a timely manner following hire
- Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
