As a Senior Finance Manager - External Supplier Organization, you will support the MTO Finance Controller in all aspects of the External Supplier Organization. You will be responsible for analyzing internal financial data, including profit and loss accounts, financial documents, working capital, costs, prices, expenses, revenues, and rates of return. Additionally, you will assess external economic conditions-such as inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates-and their effects on business operations. Using financial modeling techniques, you will measure and forecast the potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities in Fort Worth, Texas.

In this role, a typical day will include:
  • Conduct financial analysis of business operations to assess and forecast future performance.
  • Collaborate closely with operational leaders in the ESO organization to provide comprehensive financial support to Alcon's external suppliers and contract manufacturers, while assisting with various ESO projects.
  • Work across multiple Alcon plants involved in ESO activities to gain insights into costs and optimize processes; engage directly with the Alcon accounting team and internal trading partners for monthly expense recognition.
  • Support of ESO Forward and Reverse supplier relationships including the updating of pricing in coordination with accounting and Alcon pricing teams.
  • Complete month-end close activities, including performance reporting against budget and forecasting, using Alcon's financial systems such as SAP.
  • Develop and report on the ESO CAPEX process, ensuring accurate tracking of expenditures.
  • Coordinate and report on ESO inventory management.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for ESO, including the preparation of presentations for Executive Leadership.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and flexible financial support to drive business initiatives and support ESO within the broader context of Manufacturing Technical Operations (MTO).
What you'll bring to Alcon:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Proven Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Understanding of manufacturing, cost accounting, and variance analysis.
