As a Practice Experience Manager, you will be responsible for increasing territory revenue by selling Alcon's vision care portfolio of products. This is achieved by promoting Alcon's innovative technology and partnering with Eye Care Practitioners using a needs-based selling approach to match Alcon products with doctor and patient needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Account Management: Develop and grow relationships with customers to help generate new opportunities and ensure all customer demands are met, helping to advance business within the practice. You will create and execute strategic plans and routing schedules for the territory to capitalize on revenue from the highest potential customers.
  • Customer Needs Clarification: Set clear objectives for each sales call or meeting; tailor standard materials to make presentations to decision makers and influencers within the customer organization; and ask relevant questions to gather information, to evaluate the customer's level of interest, and to identify and respond to areas requiring further information or explanation.
  • Sell Customer Propositions: Use personal expertise to identify the complex standard products and/or services offered by the organization that meet the customer's needs, together with quantities and product configurations. Present these to the customer with a clear rationale to gain the customer's agreement.
  • Promoting Customer Focus: Work collaboratively with colleagues to create executional plans to help meet customer and organization needs.
  • Marketing Execution: Execute marketing plan for specific products to help change customer behavior, driving adoption of product.

Key Performance Metrics:
  • Attainment of quarterly and annual sales quotas

What you will bring to Alcon:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs.; Assoc.+6 yrs.)
  • Preferred 2 years related selling experience in medical device sales, medical sales, or business to business sales
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
