As a Forklift Distribution Technician supporting our Distribution Center, you will be trusted with unloading and loading, picking, stocking, and packing in an accurate safe, productive, and professional manner in Johns Creek, GA.

  • Driving a forklift truck, cherry picker, and/or motorized pallet jack equipped with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
  • Moving lever and pressing pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
  • Positioning forklifts, lifting platforms, or other lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials.
  • Transporting loads to their designated areas.
  • Unloading and stacking material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
  • Loading and unloading materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
  • Taking an inventory of materials on the work floor.
  • Ensuring inventory integrity in the pick locations through cycle count processes.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
  • Work hours: 40 hours per week: 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday: 3:00 PM EST - 11:30 PM EST
  • Travel Requirements: 0%

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • Prior Forklift Experience
  • Handheld Radio Frequency Scanner Experience
