As Director, Global Franchise Communications, supporting the Global Vision Care, Ocular Health, and Pharma teams, you will be trusted to work on both internal and external communication initiatives from our Fort Worth, TX site.   • Execute communication campaigns around products and key Alcon innovations in Global Vision Care Franchise, which includes contact lens, ocular health, and pharma businesses.
  • Define, develop, and deliver impactful communications strategies and programs around product launches.
  • Partner closely with functional and regional communications teams to develop consistent and informed messaging that impact associates.
  • Prepare press materials, including comprehensive Global PR toolkits, supporting NA and International communications teams with their product launches.
  • Develop global media strategies along with managing key stakeholder interviews (e.g., media) and PR opportunities (e.g., medical meeting speaking opportunities)
  • Lead global issues or crisis situations impacting the businesses protecting brands and reputation, working closely with Corporate Communications, Investor Relations team, and Regional Communications to ensure alignment of external communications.
  • Drive key Alcon corporate initiatives and programs among the Global Franchise associates.
  • In partnership with HR, develop, implement, and provide counsel on communications for large change projects and business transformations.
  • Create moments-in-time and support events such as Town Halls to engage associates and educate them on key business priorities.
  • Drive key Alcon corporate initiatives and programs among Global Vision Care Franchise associates.
  • Help support Business Development & Licensing (BD&L) communications initiatives and integrations reaching existing and future Alcon associates.
  • Report consistent metrics to leaders and the businesses.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON :
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs; Assoc.+14 yrs; M.S.+7 yrs; PhD+6 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 10 Years of Relevant Experience
