The Channel Communications team at Airbnb is responsible for driving positive conversation and buzz about Airbnb via social media, influencers and more.

We’re seeking an experienced and versatile team contributor to support a communications team that is building visibility and advancing awareness for the unique benefits and proximity to culture that Airbnb offers. The Consumer Social Senior Manager will help deliver social stories and campaigns that keep Airbnb front of mind, helping to inspire discovery, increase consideration and build advocacy for the brand. This role will be responsible for developing and executing social programs that support overarching communications goals and campaigns across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter/ X.

A Typical Day:
- Develop and support high visibility, high impact social strategies to achieve global communications goals across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter/X
- Move quickly to spot social trends and opportunities on priority platforms and identify and execute newsjacking opportunities that drive positive conversation; oversee agency partners and internal team members in pursuit of the same
- Partner with key Consumer and Entertainment stakeholders to design and deliver social-forward strategies and programming rooted in pop culture
- Assist in the internal and external merchandising of social content strategies and deliverables, ensuring clear communication, approvals and publishing plans
- Analyze and merchandise managed social campaign results, applying learnings in real time to strengthen performance
Your Expertise:
- 7-9 years experience in social media work
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Deep knowledge and expertise in building and executing creative and innovative social strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitter/ X
- Experience in crafting and leading social media strategies in the consumer and entertainment spaces
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
