The Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive on Adyen’s Digital team, you will be responsible for driving new business and expanding Adyen’s market presence. You’ll leverage Adyen’s global payments platform to help Enterprise clients optimize checkout conversion, increase authorization rates, reduce fraud and streamline payment processing across markets. Adyen’s Digital solutions deliver elite payment performance and cost efficiency through a single platform, shaping the future of online payments. This role requires expertise in Enterprise sales and the digital payment ecosystem to uncover new opportunities and contribute to Adyen’s growth.

What You’ll Do
- Own the full sales cycle: Drive new business from lead generation to deal closure.
- Strategic storytelling: Develop compelling narratives to showcase how Adyen’s solutions can create competitive advantages for Digital clients.
- Build executive relationships: Engage and maintain strong partnerships with C-level and senior decision-makers across Product, Engineering, and Finance.
- Consultative approach: Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes by understanding clients’ technical, operational, financial, and strategic goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Implementation, Account Management, and Product teams around the globe to ensure successful onboarding with an eye on long-term growth.
Who You Are
- Enterprise Sales Expert: 5+ years of Enterprise sales experience, preferably within payments, fintech, or related field, with a strong track record of closing high-value deals.
- Relationship Builder: Proven ability to engage C-level executives, navigate complex organizations, and orchestrate executive alignment during the sales process. Effective communicator with an ability to drive consensus.
- Strategic Negotiator: Skilled at leading bespoke commercial negotiations and crafting tailored value propositions to maximize mutual success. Adept at selling on strategic value rather than leading with price.
- Strongly Preferred: Payments Savvy; understanding of payment ecosystems.
- Collaborative & Driven: A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and operates with a no-ego approach to winning as a team.
- Adaptable: Ability to navigate ambiguity and adjust to dynamic market conditions while keeping the focus on delivering results.

Annual OTE ranges from $285,000 to $400,000, inclusive of base salary, target commissions, and RSUs. This range is based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
This role is based out of our San Francisco office. We have a hybrid workplace and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles.
