WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Ownership of Critical HR processes. No two days are the same! You will coordinate & administer critical processes, related to employee lifecycle events, i.e. transfers, promotions, relocation, retirement, leaves & accommodations, etc., including coordinating workflows between the various HR sub-functions.
  • Partner Internally. You will work with Corporate ADP, Employment Law and HR Business Partners to achieve compliance objectives and to embed compliance standards into the operations and management of HR in Canada, leading assigned projects & compliance programs, (i.e. Health & Safety, etc.), to mitigate compliance risks, leveraging templates, tools, and metrics to manage and report on compliance risks and enhancements.
  • Leverage Data for Maximum Impact. You will use your analytical skills to leverage data from multiple sources to uncover and communicate data insights as they relate to both HR programs and operations, (i.e. Exit Interviews, Culture Surveys, etc.).
  • Facilitate Learning. You will own and facilitate ADP Canada's New Hire Onboarding Program.
  • HR Leadership. HR site representative and member of local site leadership team
  • Educating Leaders & Associates. Manage/coordinate HR, associate and leader key resource content on ADP's internal intranet site as well as prepare and implement HR's Quarterly Leader/Associate Communications.
  • Continuous Improvement. Collaborates with business teams, peers in HR and shared services HR organization to drive continuous improvement of HR practices and processes to ensure a unified and seamless HR delivery approach to internal clients. And other projects and duties as assigned.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications

  • Expertise: 3+ years HR generalist work experience within a mid to large matrixed global organization and Shared Services environment
  • Clear Communication: You provide a balanced perspective and present information based on the target audience, whether front line associates, peers or senior leaders
  • Collaboration: You are someone who values a supportive team and building strong cross-functional relationships

Bonus points for these: Preferred Qualifications

  • HR Designation/Certification; College or University Degree in Human Resources/Business
  • Bilingual in English and French-Canadian
  • Digital fluency including the ability to grasp and understand technological tools and concepts, social media savvy, and intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Strong bias for action and keen sense of urgency
