Job Title: Functional Consultant - TLM

Location: Cheadle/ Chertsey

Reports to: Implementation Team Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • To project manage and implement client business on ADP's Time and Labor solutions to meet both client and company requirements in an agreed and timely manner
  • Provide consultancy to the client in the analysis of the business offer
  • Perform project management, planning and analyse client requirements
  • Assist in creating the functional design (where appropriate), manage application configuration, data conversion, monitor project progress and perform system testing
  • Ensure completion and sign off of project to agreed success criteria
  • Act as project lead for matrix project teams as required
  • Engage in ADP's continuous improvement programme

Key Duties / Tasks:

  • Using Client Analysis documentation, clarify and confirm client requirements to ensure database programming meets the client's time and attendance requirements
  • Identify problems, assess impact, and determine solution
  • Follow TLM software/implementation setup and programming guidelines
  • Undertake, co-ordinate and reconcile the migration of client data between third party systems and ADP software by agreed guidelines
  • Assist client with installation and configuration of time collection devices
  • Conduct parallel/test processing with the client; review all procedures, adjust program rules if necessary
  • Assist in first live processing runs
  • Where necessary, undertake configuration of links between time and attendance and ADP/third party payroll solutions
  • Meet or exceed sales order target live dates
  • Create, maintain and provide implementation project schedule/timeline for client and structure to target live achievement dates.
  • This task may be undertaken in conjunction with the ADP Project Office depending on circumstances
  • Co-ordinate and register client for product training
  • Update Implementation Management on progress of projects, highlighting order backlog and escalating appropriate risks and issues
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of all client visits and implementation activity
  • As required conduct on-site training work with sales and ADP project managers to maximise client satisfaction and TLM business results
  • Work with third party project managers where appropriate
  • Obtain and log all relevant sign off documentation as per implementation and audit guidelines
  • Ensure relevant ADP departments are kept informed as and when accounts go live as per agreed guidelines
  • Ensure that all additional revenue generated from the account during implementation is logged with the relevant department for billing
  • Keep up to date with new product rollouts and existing product enhancements
  • Perform client follow up visits as required

Requirements: Knowledge required:

  • Knowledge of Windows based network environment an advantage but not essential

Education and Experience:

  • Previous experience working directly with clients performing an implementation or consulting role (desired but not essential)

Other:

  • The post holder will frequently be required to travel to client locations throughout the UK and the Republic of Ireland, and may occasionally be expected to stay overnight where relevant.
  • This role will involve a mixture of both office and field based work.
