Job Description for General Ledger Consultant
Basic Function
This position is responsible for the successful implementation of ADP General Ledger for the clients using excellent functional, technical and project management knowledge and skills to complete assigned tasks.
Essential Responsibilities
- Analysis and Requirement gathering sessions, working directly with Clients and Vendors for GL Configurations.
- Uses excellent communication and facilitation skills to advice and update clients and internal teams. Prepares written communications such as status/issue reports, project/internal correspondence, mapping documents and other required deliverables. Delivers prepared, concise, and persuasive formal presentations in a variety of settings.
- Understand business requirement and translate it technically and setup the configuration of the system.
- Documents information about source systems including data formats, systems of record, definitions, and data dependencies.
- Identifying and understanding issues, problems and opportunities by comparing data from different sources and draw conclusions.
- Provide End-to-End support by working with project teams in all phases of the General Ledger Product implementation.
- Performs technical Quality Assurance on output files and system configurations.
- Creates and maintains documentation on efforts, formats, and configuration rules, etc.

- Good knowledge MS- Excel
- Understanding of Accounting/Payroll/HCM Domain is appreciated.
