Description and Requirements
The Operations Analyst (OA) is responsible for tracking, reporting, analyzing, supporting, and summarizing operations processes and data. The OA position assists with various departmental activities that may or may not include ensuring policy adherence, managing workflows, reconciling reports, maintenance and testing of system related changes, tracking production, validating automated processes, and/or monitoring workflows. The OA owns the accuracy and timeliness of reported data as well as communication and resolution of identified issues involving reports and trends.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Experience working in Microsoft product suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Manipulation and creation of Excel spreadsheets; including but not limited to standardizing reports across multiple sheets, utilizing vLookups and functions/formulas, creating, using and interpreting pivot tables, filtering and formatting to generate desired results
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
• Work experience in health insurance or healthcare environment
• Strong analysis and report development skills
• Expertise in utilizing data analysis and query tools such as SAS or SQL
• Experience with one or more of the following: querying data using data tables and ACCESS, identifying risks, issues and providing resolution options
• Working experience with NYSOH or Federal Exchange
• Ability to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication

Hiring Range:
- Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $57,408 - $76,960
- All Other Locations (within approved locations): $49,795 - $72,800
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
