In this role, you will work in the Treasury Banking and Operations department. ADP's Treasury Banking Operations works with business units throughout ADP, along with banks and other financial organizations. TBO manages the money movement of client funds for all US payment processing.

As a Manager of Treasury Banking Operations, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting more than one team in multiple locations. The Treasury Banking and Operations Department is comprised of a Funds Operations team, Money Movement Transmissions Team, Data Transmission and setup team, Check Fraud Loss Prevention Team, Banking Relations and Cash Management. 2 of the processing teams will report to this leader. In addition to direct responsibility to oversee associates, the Manager of Treasury Banking Operations will collaborate closely with other teams not directly reporting to this role to achieve results and may rotate team responsibilities with peer to achieve a cross trained leadership environment. You will be accountable for the execution of Money Movement processes and be a lead on high impact projects. Maintain a collaborative work environment between all teams and meet service and bank deadlines consistently. Take an active role in representing Treasury Banking Operation in initiatives and mentor and support Team Leads in the department. TBO managers are an escalation point for issue resolution and liaison between two main locations with employees in California and Texas.

The Manager of Treasury Banking Operations leads a transmission team responsible for monitoring and ensuring delivery of NACHA formatted files to bank partners. The Manager of Treasury Banking Operations also leads exception processing associates who are responsible for executing high volume financial manual exceptions (from Check fraud inquiries to stop payments to wire's) all in order to support ADP processes or internal business partner requests. The Manager of Treasury Banking Operations also monitors service level agreements' (SLA) for manual and systemic daily bank runs and bank transmission to and from ADP partner banks and vendors throughout the day. Ensure processing teams complete daily file and money movement so that ADP collects and disburses timely.

You will need to take initiative and ownership to learn and understand overall Treasury Operations department functions and business impact to ADP. Be personally responsible to ensure the teams reporting to you maintains 100% dual operational capacity, maintain their SLA's and high-quality operational efficiency and maintaining a business continuity plan. You will track and report on audit and operational controls to minimize deviations and be included in vendor management. The Manager of Treasury Banking Operations must be a process and compliance focused individual.

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Stay connected with your high impact teams and operations. You will consistently check on your high impact teams and ensure operations are processing as expected. You will be required to identify issues early and maintain high accuracy and compliance. Minimize anticipate and plan for failures.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • At least 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably leadership experience, in a Banking/Treasury/File processing/Transmissions Operations area
  • Experience with Legacy and SAP applications.
  • Work well under pressure, by communicating timely and maintaining a high accuracy rate. Ability to excel in a high paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain productive, professional interpersonal Ability to influence and maintain a positive executive impression.
  • Ability to multitask between functions while meeting deadlines and keeping partners updated with regular communication and respond to outages and escalations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as to support the business needs to include weekend system testing leadership. Teams reporting to this leader have a late shift and require escalation support.
  • Be an escalation point and have the ability to step in for direct team, peer leader support, or temporary Senior Manager support.
  • First-Principles thinker (e.g., ability to question how we are working rather than simply executing)
  • Ability to Travel, 10% of the time.
  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience with a major area of Concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business. CFP/AAP/CTP/CPP desired.

Office: This is NOT a REMOTE Job. Expect a hybrid 3 /2 model with 3 days in office.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $71,600.00 - $145,200.00 / Year
