ADP is hiring a Marketing/Creative Writer: Sr. Communications Project Coordinator.

In this position, you'll be a "go-to" for writing content, conceptualizing creative ideas and communications campaign management within ADP's hyper-growth business called Human Resources Outsourcing. This role is charged with creating experience-infused communications to all three of our target audiences including clients, their workers, and our own associates who work at ADP.

This is a leading client relationship team that leverages the power of creativity, the beauty of an idea, and the magic of technology to nurture and sustain strong relationships between brands and their clients.

You are more than a writer, you're a creative strategist and a quick learner. While you have writing and campaign management experience, you want to become an expert in your craft. Your copy is fresh and clean, free of clichés and grammatical errors. Plus, you're constantly seeking new ways to tell the story and you have a powerful portfolio of writing samples to back it up.

You are also seasoned and comfortable with communication campaign planning, including stakeholder management -- serving as a liaison between the business needs and the communications team -- helping balance priorities, timelines, resources, and capacity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities

What you can expect on a typical day:

  • Develop communication campaigns for the business, including determining the game plan to drive the overall approach, defining target audiences, creating messages across multiple channels, and capturing success metrics to apply to future work.
  • Use market trends, data, and sentiment to create and manage smart, creative concepts and multi-channel communication campaigns for internal and external audiences that meet key business objectives, including behavior change, improved client experience, and more.
  • Manage the 360-degree communication experience using every channel, be it email, web, mobile, presentations, Town Halls, and more.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects by helping intake, evaluate, and counsel on work requests, balancing work in queue, and stakeholder expectations to help set priorities for success.
  • Support ADP HRO leadership in effectively communicating key product, service, pricing, compliance, and other functionally-led initiatives to clients, client employees, and ADP associates across a variety of channels from email, newsletters, video, and more.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize communication effectiveness to drive awareness and engagement with internal and external audiences.
  • Work closely with internal resources across ADP to effectively go to market across a variety of initiatives.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Required Qualifications

  • You have a minimum of 7 years of related experience in marketing and/or communication, creative writing, or other role(s) that focus on creating targeted and measured programs deployed across a variety of touchpoints.
  • You have regularly produced highly visible material for senior-level executives in various forms -- speeches, presentations, newsletters, and more.
  • You enjoy working on multiple high-priority projects and processes in a fast-paced and ever-shifting environment.
  • You can balance stakeholder expectations and can comfortably speak and negotiate with senior leaders about priority work for successful capacity planning.
  • You believe in the importance of writing in a corporate tone, while actively applying empathy and a "human" voice to communications -- and layering in AP style flawlessly.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to develop strategic communications for different audiences, including B2B, B2C, and employees.
  • You have handled highly sensitive confidential information with the utmost ethical practice.
  • You have experience working collaboratively in matrix environments and managing external partners.

BONUS POINTS FOR THESE: Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Writing, Communications, PR, or related field or equivalent in education and experience. (A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job.)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to think independently and make decisions.
