We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our ESI Digital Technologies team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, business process improvement, and prototyping, with expertise in business intelligence tools and analytics. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to deliver insights and solutions that drive strategic decision-making and business outcomes.
Work mode:
- Hybrid model: 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remotely.
Key Duties/Tasks:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and requirements.
- Document detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for BI & analytics projects.
- Develop prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups to illustrate potential solutions and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Use prototyping tools such as Figma to create visual representations of data reports, dashboards, and workflows.
- Iterate prototypes based on user feedback to refine and improve solutions before full-scale development.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and refine the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Assist the Product Owner in defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and ensuring clear communication of requirements to the development team.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, providing insights and feedback to optimize project delivery.
- Collaborate with the developers and QAs throughout the entire implementation cycle, providing clarifications and validate the implementation of the features
- Support the assigned projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Apply Scrum methodologies to manage project delivery, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Assist with roadmap preparation, timelines, and status reports, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to optimize business processes using data-driven insights and BI solutions.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with data governance teams to establish and enforce policies, standards, and best practices for data management.
- Promote awareness and understanding of data governance principles across the organization, fostering a culture of accountability and quality data usage.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
- Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on progress, insights, outcomes, and planned features.

Technical Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst (5+ years).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners and development teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Strong advocacy for data governance and experience in promoting best practices across the organization.
- Experience in working with Reporting tools is a plus
- Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and big data technologies.
- Proficiency in prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Power BI knowledge and experience.
- Scrum Product Owner certification or relevant experience in applying Scrum practices.
- Familiarity with predictive analytics and machine learning concepts.
