Position: Collections Specialists
Pay: $17-$23

Hours: Flexible but may start 8-9AM

Location: Plano, TX

Responsibilities:

• Review aging & follow up on past due insurance claims
• Contacts insurance companies, patients, government agencies, other hospital departments, physician offices, attorney offices & other third-party payers regarding aged and past due balances
• Reviews & follows-up on Explanation of Benefit denials
• Submits re-bills, tracers, & appeals; submits adjustments. Identifies bad debt accounts for adjustment & identifies credits and refunds

Requirements:

• 2+ years' experience working in medical collections
• Experience working with UB-04 claim forms
• Experience working with commercial payors
• Experience working with Wellsky or HMS would be a plus
• Experience with Long term care, Outpatient rehab, or facility claims preferred
