Our Commitment
At Henry Schein, we believe that an integrated approach to our D&I journey ensures success by cultivating our culture, recruiting and retaining diverse talent, and continuing our commitment to society. We use the power of inclusion to foster an environment focused on the well-being of our employees, driven by our core values. We strive to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent with diverse backgrounds and experiences to help drive continued innovation. By understanding the changing demographics of our customers and their patients we hope to better support them and serve their specific needs. Ultimately, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive environment goes beyond Henry Schein which is why we are committed to engaging with external partners who share our common mission.
Employee Resource Groups
Henry Schein has a strong commitment to supporting diversity in our organization and with business partners. Diversity fosters innovation, additional perspectives and forges stronger relationships with the communities we serve. As such, our employee resource groups serve as the backbone of our organization’s cultural initiatives and promote equity in a myriad of ways. ERGs provide employees the opportunity to develop professionally, connect with other team members, build safe spaces for underrepresented groups, learn about and share experiences with one another, and much more. They also support many of our philanthropic initiatives that help advance health equity.

"One of my greatest joys is being a part of the Pride and Allies employee resource group (ERG) at Henry Schein. I became involved with the leadership committee in early 2020, and the journey thus far is beyond rewarding. I’m proud to be a part of a company that is working to ensure continued education, insight, and representation. It speaks to the value placed on each and every Team Schein Member and ensures that we each have a voice and are heard and seen."
- Ed Garro, Associate Development and Training Manager

"I immediately knew that I had made a great career choice when I joined Henry Schein 11 years ago. From day one, I felt welcomed for who I was and never doubted whether I could be my authentic self. When I found out the company was creating an LGBTQ+ employee resource group (ERG), I wanted in! Now, it’s an honor to serve on the leadership team for the Pride and Allies ERG, which provides various educational programs for our members on topics that affect both LGBTQ+ Team Schein Members (TSMs) and their allies."
- Karen Goody, Outbound Medical Sales Representative
