ZS's Platform Development team designs, implements, tests and supports ZS's ZAIDYN Platform that help hundreds of companies and thousands of end users make critical decisions. Whether writing distributed optimization algorithms or advanced mapping and visualization interfaces, you will have an opportunity to solve challenging problems and make an immediate impact.

What you'll do:

  • Work collaboratively across multiple teams to create internal-facing technical documentation which will be used by software developers, Administrators and Configurators.
  • Connect with subject matter experts and proactively manage your own learning to become familiar with our software.
  • Work with project managers and subject matter experts to implement timely and effective edits until documentation is ready for publication.
  • Create supporting documentation like user guides and training material for our internal software.
  • Convert existing PDF documentation into interactive help centers.
  • Manage online repository of documentation while meeting deadlines.
  • Proactively participate in project planning and scheduling.
  • Suggest improvements to documentation, our style guide, and processes whenever possible.
  • Adhere to design template and company style guide while organizing and writing documentation.

What you'll bring:

  • Post-Secondary level education w/ proficiency in English required. (BS/BA in English preferred.)
  • 3.5 - 6.5 years of user documentation and API creation experience, preferably with training material on software products and applications.
  • Work samples of user documentation you've created; please provide at our request.
  • A Computer Science background is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with MadCap Flare, Adobe Robohelp or similar XML authoring tools required
  • Experience learning about and communicating technical topics, such as web-based software development and platform development.
  • Superior writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational/time management, planning and prioritization skills.

Travel is a requirement at ZS for client facing ZSers; business needs of your project and client are the priority. While some projects may be local, all client-facing ZSers should be prepared to travel as needed.
