ZS's Discovery Venture is focused on delivering cutting edge solutions to research groups that will help clients accelerate drug discovery, improve R&D productivity, create breakthrough scientific discoveries, develop institutional scientific knowledge, transform research operating models and culture, and provide accelerated insights.

MANAGER - ZS DISCOVERY (Boston, MA)

Requirements:

  • Join the ZS Discovery leadership team and contribute to the growth strategy in areas such as the Drug Discovery process, precision medicine, data and knowledge management, research strategy and transformation, etc.
  • Contribute to exploring/selecting/developing new offerings by consolidating internal and external perspectives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and client relationships, within Discovery
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver high quality engagements within timeline and budget
  • Drive prospecting and business development within key accounts by leveraging current experience and building new relationships
  • Collaborate closely with other ZS team members to drive overall client and practice growth
  • Play an active role in building the practice, its talent pool, growing and mentoring team members
  • Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects
  • Contribute to the development of intellectual capital, consulting capabilities, and offerings within the practice and different ZS communities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD required with strong academic performance in analytic and quantitative coursework (life sciences, engineering, applied mathematics, operations research, statistics or relevant fields);
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in management consulting, professional services or technology services or platforms related to life sciences and bioinformatics services;
  • Superior verbal and written communication, organization, analytic, planning and leadership skills;
  • Thorough understanding of client business concerns to oversee translation into technical inputs;
  • Proven relationship-building and maintaining skills with clients and across functional areas
  • Demonstrated experience working with Discovery clients;
  • Demonstrated experience driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects;
  • A willingness to travel within the US and internationally to meet client needs
