As the Manager of High Voltage Charging and Distribution Systems, you will lead a talented engineering team in shaping the future of autonomous mobility. In this role you will,

  • Lead and mentor a team of mechanical design engineers, fostering innovation and collaboration across projects
  • Develop, deploy, and enhance technology processes for charging and infrastructure systems
  • Oversee design and technical reviews for build-to-spec and build-to-print components from concept to production
  • Quickly resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
  • Approve and manage critical documentation, including BOMs, drawings, and test reports


  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering (ME, EE, or Mechatronics) or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years in people management
  • Technical background in EV subsystems, including design, modeling, materials, and electronics
  • Proven track record in launching hardware products with firmware/software integration
  • Experienced in managing complex cross-functional projects and communicating clearly across teams


  • Bonus Qualifications

  • Knowledge of automotive functional safety (ISO26262), reliability calculations, and system FMEA analysis
  • Experience with EE system communication protocols (CAN, LIN) and Lithium-Ion battery degradation
  • Familiarity with EMC/EMI concepts and Six Sigma or structured problem-solving methodologies (PPS, 8D)


  • Compensation

    There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $255,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
