Endpoint Engineer
What you can expect
The Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing endpoint solutions across our organization. This role involves working closely with IT, security, compliance, application owners, and end-users. The team's goal is to ensure the optimal performance, security, and management of all endpoint devices. This includes desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices using modern tools, self-service and automation. This engineer will have to be technically, and operationally minded. Focusing on end user experience and will be a key team member in helping drive a self-service, proactive and AI driven solutions.
About the Team
Zoom's Endpoint Engineers are a critical role in IT and are responsible for enabling our Zoomies to do their best work. Providing a secure and frictionless device and colleague experience. The endpoint is the single common platform that all Zoomies use daily in order to deliver happiness to our customers.

What we're looking for
- Have a Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Have experience in endpoint operating system expertise in Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile OS (iOS and Android).
- Show the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to the physical, process/memory, session, packet and application level.
- Have experience with software packaging, deployment, and update management across various platforms.
- Demonstrate experience with endpoint data (OS and Application) transformation - parsing, scripting, automation/workflow.
- Have experience with managing endpoint infrastructure following CI/CD best practices with Jira and GitHub. Experience with modern languages and tools like Python, Powershell, Linux/Bash, MDM Workflows and endpoint orchestration.
- Have experience with Modern Device Management tools and orchestration (Workspace One, Jamf, InTune) and desktop virtualization (AWS and Horizon).
- Have experience with endpoint security practices, including antivirus, DLP, encryption, patch and vulnerability management.
- Have relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, VMware Certified Professional, or similar.
- Show experience with supporting Unified Collaboration tools (Zoom, Google Workspace / GAM, Proofpoint, SendGrid, etc.)
