About the role:
The HR generalist performs all HR-related duties of the team member life cycle within ZimVie Spain and Portugal in close cooperation with the local Management team and the European and Global HR team. He/she supports the development of the Iberia team to make ZimVie Iberia an attractive place to work.

What you'll be doing:
- Cover all areas of HR for the Iberia ZimVie team with around 100-120- employees from hire to retire
- Recruit new team members in Spain and Portugal according to the country's needs and budget plan to always ensure fully staffed teams and develop the local recruitment strategy
- Onboard new team members and ensure good integration
- Take care of the annual training and development plan in cooperation with the local leadership team
- Support all HR-related global programs, like the annual Performance and Merit review process
- Cooperate with the external payroll provider and ensure correct and timely monthly payroll
- Execute disciplinary measures in cooperation with the managers and external lawyers
- Cooperation with the local work council
- Supervise the Health & Safety requirements for the entity
- Participate in the administration of the company cars
- Responsible for all necessary documentation to maintain up-to-date and accurate team member files (contracts, etc.)
- Participate in European and Global HR projects
What you'll need:
- BA or master's degree in HR or similar (e.g. Business, Law, Psychology) or long-term professional experience in HR
- Min. 3 years of professional experience in the HR function of an international company
- Good self-organization, a sense of confidentiality, and professional communication skills
- Very good knowledge of Spanish labor law and payroll
- IT knowledge in MS Office and HR-related IT programs
- Fluent language skills in Spanish and English are mandatory
