We are an agile, fast-paced group of writers, designers, producers and filmmakers, operating at the intersection of Zillow's B2B and B2C audiences. About the role
As a Video Content Creator on the Zillow brand marketing team, you'll be at the forefront of creating visually engaging and impactful content across multiple platforms. Collaborating with a cross-functional team, you'll bring ideas to life through expert video production, editing, and storytelling. You'll combine creative vision with strategic insight to produce videos that captivate and inform our diverse audiences while staying true to the Zillow brand's voice and tone, driving both brand awareness and business objectives forward.

What you'll do:
- Capture and produce high-quality video content that translates complex ideas into visually compelling stories for both B2C and B2B audiences.
- Develop creative concepts and solutions for brand experiential and marketing campaigns contributing to brainstorming sessions and pitching video ideas.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers and other team members to create compelling content that aligns with brand goals and objectives.
- Oversee and/or assist the full video production process, including scripting, shooting, interviewing, editing, post production, and motion graphics creation, ensuring seamless execution for digital, social and event platforms.
- Conceptualize and produce dynamic video content for various channels, including social media, corporate presentations, website content and event activations.
- Maintain consistency with Zillow brand visual identity, tone and messaging guidelines while innovating to keep content fresh and engaging.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, video production tools, and emerging platforms to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.
- Organize and manage video archives, ensuring efficient access to footage and projects.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $88,200.00 - $140,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- 5+ years experience as a video content creator with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in video production, editing, and motion graphic design.
- Proven ability to create high quality video content for multiple formats, including specific skills in shooting, editing, motion graphics and music/sound design.
- Experience working in a fast-paced creative agency, production company, or in-house studio, either on staff or as a contractor/freelancer with a portfolio.
- High proficiency in video product software, including Premiere Pro/Davinci Resolve, AfterEffects and Illustrator.
- Strong storytelling ability with a keen eye for composition, lighting, and detail, delivering polished content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Ability to receive and distill feedback from multiple stakeholders, incorporating diverse perspectives while maintaining project vision and quality.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the flexibility to respond to changing priorities and creative direction. - Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong aptitude for quickly grasping basic marketing and real estate business strategies, adapting video content to align with business goals and audience needs.
- A background in content and/or social strategy is helpful, but not required
- Bachelors degree in film, video production, graphic design, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Operate independently while working remotely and ability to travel up to 25% of the time for on-site shoots, events, and other production needs as required.
