Specifically, the New Construction sales team works with New Construction Builders throughout the US, helping to connect home shoppers with Home Builders through our Promoted Communities product. Our customer base consists of large (often publicly traded) national builders, mid-sized regional builders, and smaller regional builders.

We are looking for a Sr. Sales Manager, Enterprise to lead the sales team's focused on our enterprise builders. As a Sr. Manager, you will be responsible for helping determine the growth strategy for some of our largest builder partners through high-value negotiations and strategic partnerships. You'll partner with the Sales Director, Enterprise to align and execute on team revenue goals and initiatives. You'll support extremely seasoned sellers to identify new opportunities which will contribute to year-over-year revenue growth. With a deep understanding of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for helping implement yearly rate increases, facilitating difficult negotiations while partnering with Zillow Operations and Product on new and exciting product enhancements. About the role

Through coaching and a strong strategic voice, you will help strengthen existing relationships while driving increased sales revenue through your team. This group is focused on breaking into new business, as well as driving growth for incremental revenue from existing customers. We believe in a customer first approach and as such you will be expected to be highly solutions oriented. Your team will come to respect your thoughtful and strategic sales and management approach. You will have a firm command of sales data to help support your efforts and decisions.

This role will report to the Sales Director, Enterprise.

In this role you will lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Quota Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed sales quotas by monitoring performance, finding opportunities, and implementing strategies to ensure success.
  • Revenue Growth: Have an innovative strategic approach that allows you to think outside of the box and implement sales competitions, incentives, and opportunities for your team to achieve the highest-level revenue growth possible.
  • Goal Setting: Establish clear, measurable, and achievable goals for your team, tracking progress and adjusting as necessary to maintain focus and motivation.
  • People Growth: Develop and mentor a high-performing team of seasoned sellers, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
  • Strategic Mindset: Demonstrate a deep understanding of market dynamics and industry trends, using this knowledge to formulate and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Remove Roadblocks: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder your team's productivity and success, enabling them to focus on their core responsibilities.
  • Empower Your Team: Encourage and enable your team to take ownership of their work, make informed decisions, and drive results, while providing guidance and resources as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve sales processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $112,400.00 - $179,600.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role are eligible for incentive compensation and equity awards. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • Proven sales leadership experience including implementation and ongoing management of goal setting, accountability metrics, and pipeline management.
  • Flexible, with the ability to lead large scale teams, cross-functional responsibilities, and priorities in a fast paced, growth-focused and time-critical environment.
  • Proven ability to train sales teams on managing a complex sales process that may include multiple decision makers and influencers as well as a transactional sales process that may include a single decision maker.
  • Ability to communicate, present, and influence multiple levels within an organization, including at the C-level with extraordinary communication skills, both oral and written.
  • The position requires 30% travel to meet with industry decision makers in corporate marketing as well as at divisional and national levels.
  • 8-10 years sales leadership experience - ideally across a range of sales & product environments, including organizations that combine a large outbound sales team with an outside sales team to drive growth.
  • You have significant experience leading multiple sales organizations of 10+ representatives and leaders.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience considered.
