About the role
The Senior Sales Analyst uses data analytics to enhance sales performance and plays an important role in strategic decision-making within the Operations team. In this position, you will collaborate with Sales and Support leadership teams and Operations to maintain data integrity, develop analytical capabilities, and provide valuable insights. Your primary responsibilities will include refining operational processes, analyzing sales data, and predicting sales trends.
As a Senior Sales Analyst, you will have the opportunity to use powerful reporting and BI technologies to translate data into actionable insights for sales strategy as well as identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to boost sales efficiency
Reporting & Analysis:
- Build insightful dashboards using Tableau, Databricks, SFDC & custom internal tools for audiences ranging from front line managers to senior executives
- Leverage ETL to ensure the quality, availability & timely delivery of reporting updates
- Analyze trends in sales data to recommend data-driven strategies for sales growth on an ad hoc basis
- Identify areas of opportunity to fill data availability gaps to better advise analyses & reporting
Sales Strategy & Cross-functional Leadership
- Work with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure data-driven decision-making across departments
- Evaluate sales performance against targets & identify early indicators in the data ecosystem to recommend adjustments to sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on goals, share insights, and coordinate sales strategies
- Communicate effectively to tell the story of the data and improve business outcomes
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $105,900.00 - $169,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- 5-plus years experience in a Sales Analyst or similar role
- Sales Data Expert: Extensive experience in sales data analysis
- Advanced business intelligence abilities with extensive working experience in SQL, ETL, data modeling, SFDC, Python, and Tableau
- Leadership in Sales Analytics: You exhibit strong leadership qualities and have a passion for guiding teams towards better outcomes
- Strategic Sales Visionary: You possess a strategic approach and can demonstrate data insights to drive sales growth and enhance business performance
- Mentor and Advisor: You serve as a mentor to junior analysts, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster their growth in the field of sales insights
- Continuous Innovator: You are committed to innovation, exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve sales strategies and outcomes
