The Zillow Group Compliance team develops and implements operational compliance systems to ensure adherence to state, federal, and local laws as well as internal policies. As a growing team dedicated to excellence, we collaborate closely with all Zillow departments, particularly in regulated areas like Zillow Home Loans, Zillow Group Marketplace, Zillow Insurance Services, Zillow, Inc. real estate brokerage, and title & escrow operations. The compliance monitoring team plays a crucial role in protecting the organization by ensuring business operations align with relevant regulations and policies. As a key contributor to our compliance strategy, you'll help uphold our processes, monitor regulatory adherence, and support innovative technologies to enhance compliance practices.

About the role
We are looking for an agile and detail-oriented Compliance Monitoring Senior Analyst to join our Compliance Monitoring team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and detailed compliance monitoring activities across multiple lines of business. You will also help facilitate the program that ensures appropriate access to specific systems throughout Zillow Group. You will play a vital role in crafting comprehensive reports for diverse audiences and assist in integrating new technologies, including AI, into our compliance monitoring framework.
- Monitor calls, documents, or other communications for adherence to compliance requirements.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of compliance reviews conducted by other team members for multiple lines of business.
- Support the User Access Review program by facilitating User Access Review activities for specific ZG systems.
- Understand legal and regulatory requirements for regulated industries, including but not limited to mortgage and real estate.
- Process and analyze a high volume of data from platforms such as Gong and Tableau.
- Maintain accurate reporting for all compliance monitoring activities for a variety of audiences.
- Assist in the adoption of new and emerging technologies for the compliance monitoring program, including AI.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $75,100.00 - $119,900.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- 3+ years in a data, compliance, risk, or systems analyst role.
- You possess the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical compliance measures.
- You can apply compliance requirements to various business line interactions with ease.
- Your data analysis and reporting skills are outstanding, allowing you to handle significant volumes of data effectively.
- You are eager to learn new technology platforms and have a basic understanding of AI technologies.
- You thrive in dynamic environments, demonstrating the ability to adapt to changing regulatory requirements and evolving business activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills enable you to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- You have a keen attention to detail, ensuring high standards in all aspects of your work.
- Strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets are required.
- Experience working with platforms such as Tableau, Airtable, Gong, and Auditboard is preferred.
