About the role
As a Product Designer on the Financing team, you'll craft and implement experiences that help customers shop and find homes in their budget. You'll champion a deep understanding of customer needs, drive innovative ideas to redefine the mortgage experience, and collaborate closely with senior designers, product and engineering to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design digital customer experiences for web, iOS, and Android.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, researchers, content designers, and engineers.
- Propose, test, and evaluate ideas to improve the home buying process.
- Lead multiple projects with mentorship from design leaders.
- Participate in design activities like journey mapping, prototyping, and user testing
- Use data to advise design decisions, continuously refining and improving the user experience.
- Present design work and seek regular feedback from partners and senior leaders.
- Partner with our Design System team to up-level our visual standards and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Contribute, learn, grow and have fun!
This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.
In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- 3-5 years as a product designer, user experience designer, or similar role.
- Strong design, organization, project planning and collaboration skills.
- Examples of high-quality interaction and visual design work in a design portfolio.
- Experience working with a team to ship design projects and review results.
- Experience working reliably with diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing small design projects with support from senior team members.
- Experience participating in user research and discovery activities.
- Experience developing ideas that address customer and business problems.
- Experience making effective decisions and leading design project work.
- Examples of critical thinking, creativity, and risk-taking in design projects.
- Skilled in Figma and prototyping tools.
