Spruce is looking for an onsite Post Closing Associate to join the Escrow Operations Team. The responsibilities of the Post Closing Associate role will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Processes received packages daily and ships out all applicable documents.
• Deposits incoming checks from closing packages, refunds, or returned mail accurately to the correct bank account.
• Accurately matches wires and checks to appropriate escrow files.
• Thoroughly reviews all incoming mail, scans documents received to the appropriate escrow file, and sets a task for the appropriate team to take action.
• Managing a real estate recording, policy & post closing pipeline, in partnership with all internal and external operational stakeholders, to ensure our customers experience a smooth, on-time closing.
• Preps, Audits and Submits documents for both eRecording and Physical Recording.
• Resolves rejections in a timely manner and communicate issues to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Reviews required documents to issue final title policy.
• Working cross-functionally with members of adjacent operations team, including exam, curative, funding, and post-closing, in a collaborative manner.
• Delivering clear and effective feedback to workflow and platform enhancements made by the Spruce product, engineering, and data science teams.

In performing the above responsibilities, the Post Closing Associate will maintain adherence to performance metrics according to established service standards and key performance indicators.

This role has been categorized as an Office position. "Office" employees regularly work at an existing ZG corporate office for approximately 80 to 100 percent of their time each month. Employees must live within reasonable commuting distance of their designated ZG office. ZG has not defined a reasonable distance, and expects employees will use judgment in determining this for themselves and understand the implications re: time commitment and cost of daily commute.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
