Our Network office is located at 401 W. 218th St., New York, NY 10034. Our Network team follows a hybrid work schedule as their scope of work permits. This role can expect to be in person 2-3 days per week most weeks, with Tuesdays and Thursdays as required in-person days for the full team. This role may also include occasional in-person work days at Zeta’s other school sites across NYC, and will be fully in person during scheduled Z Combinator sessions (5 days/week, 3-4 weeks per year).

To achieve our mission of ensuring every child in America has access to free, high-quality education, we are searching for a stellar Leadership Development Program Manager, with a Bachelor's Degree and at least 4-5 years of program management or management consulting experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and lifelong learner with a problem-solving mindset and impeccable project management and event-planning skills, as well as strong, proactive communication habits. Though not required, experience facilitating workshops of leading adult learning is preferred.

As the Leadership Development Program Manager, you will support our team to engage and empower charter leaders and educators across the country with the resources, tools, and support they need to build and scale excellent schools.

Responsibilities:

  • Project managing our Z Combinator Fellowship program and ensuring an excellent experience for participants at both in-person and virtual events
  • Partnering with Zeta’s leadership team to design and deliver in-person and online trainings and events — starting with our Z Combinator Fellowship
  • Identifying partnership opportunities for Zeta and Z Combinator with universities, charter school funders, and other entities
  • Developing and piloting new programs to support the Z Combinator mission
  • Researching and staying informed about start-up accelerators and resource-sharing initiatives throughout the education sector and more broadly
  • Supporting Zeta’s Development efforts to fundraise for Z Combinator
  • Building and maintaining our Z Combinator website and resource library
  • Managing communications with past, present, and future Z Combinator participants 
  • Wearing multiple hats and codifying your work and processes as part of lean, scaling team

We are hiring for an immediate opening. The salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $90,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near this level, depending on relevant experience and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales. This position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary, merit-based performance bonus.
