Our Network office is located at 401 W 218th St., New York, NY 10034. Our Network team follows a hybrid work schedule: we work in-person from our office on Tuesdays and Thursdays with optional remote days on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, if your team’s scope of work permits.

To achieve our vision, we are searching for Full or Part Time Community Outreach Associates with experience in a sales or customer service position with a proven record of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers or external audiences. Zeta's Community Outreach Associate, part of the Zeta Street Team (“Z Team”) Program, is a community outreach role designed to ensure families in our local communities learn about Zeta so their children have an opportunity to apply to attend a Zeta School. Our goal is to reach every family in the neighborhoods we serve so that every eligible child has the opportunity to access our high-quality educational seats.

Community Outreach Associates assist us with educating families on Zeta’s school design and curriculum, obtaining student applications for pre-kindergarten through 8th grade at our schools, and sharing materials with various community organizations. Given that our growth plan includes expanding into Queens for the 2025-26 school year, familiarity with the Queens borough and living in close proximity to it is highly preferred. 

As a Community Outreach Associate, you:

• Are a people person, and you are excited about the prospect of sharing information about Zeta’s world-class schools with community family members 
• Enjoy meeting and conversing with new people of all walks of life every day, and you are able to learn and explain Zeta’s mission, vision, and educational program with clarity
• Are hard-working, punctual, extremely organized, results-driven, and flexible
• Are good at juggling multiple responsibilities at the same time
• Ideally have customer service or community service experience, and are fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish or Chinese

Responsibilities:

• Engage with families about Zeta’s world-class educational program, and provide them with brochures and other resources
• Obtain paper applications for children enrolling in pre-kindergarten to 8th grade for the 2025-26 school year
• Assist in organizational outreach events
• Obtain contact information of families that express interest
• Provide flyers to businesses and residential buildings
• Note: Engaging with families about Zeta’s world-class educational program involves participating in regular community outreach shifts, which typically require extended periods of walking, standing, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs

We will provide all necessary training and information on Zeta so that you can be successful in the role. If offered a part-time Community Outreach Associate role, you can expect to work approximately 16-20 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, as determined by Zeta’s Outreach Manager. The part-time compensation for this position is $18/hour.

If offered a full-time Community Outreach Associate role, the salary range for this position is between $62,500 and $75,000. New hires can expect to be brought into the organization at a salary at or near the start of the range, depending on relevant experience and internal equity. Compensation is based on our salary scales.
