The day-to-day

  • Negotiate Low to Medium Risk Contract Agreements: Use your negotiation prowess to secure the best terms and conditions for products and services, ensuring Zendesk maximizes its value.
  • Contract Assessment: Analyze existing contracts to identify areas where amendments or improvements are needed, keeping our agreements aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Contract Drafting and Editing: Skillfully prepare and edit contracts between Zendesk and vendors, ensuring clarity and accuracy in legal documentation.
  • Risk Management: Safeguard Zendesk's interests by managing contract risks while actively seeking opportunities for savings and other favorable outcomes.
  • Issue Resolution: Responsively address and resolve queries from both internal business customers and vendors, maintaining smooth operations.
  • Source-to-Pay Process Enhancement: Collaborate on the development, implementation, and evolution of effective source-to-pay processes that drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide valuable guidance and support to purchase requestors throughout the purchasing life cycle, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Handles tasks and projects delegated or assigned by the team lead and Manager

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent quantitative skills with the ability to dissect complex problems.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Demonstrated proficiency in data-driven problem-solving and analysis.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to conduct rigorous, fact-based analyses, prepare compelling proposals, and excel in negotiation.
  • Legal Expertise: In-depth knowledge of procurement regulations, contract documents, and legal specifications.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, Word and GSuite.
  • Bonus Points: Experience in sourcing, procurement, or consulting is a plus.
  • Communication: Strong communication and networking skills, enabling effective teamwork or individual contributions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to be flexible and agile in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to adjust priorities seamlessly.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate excellent attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience in maintaining relationships with individuals in other functional areas.
  • Customer-Centric: Understanding of a customer service-based function.
  • Willingness to work on night shift
