Senior Marketing Operations Specialist

The Senior Marketing Operations Specialist role plays a crucial role in enhancing and scaling our lead management engine. As part of Marketing Operations at Zendesk, you will act as a strategic partner to Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, Sales Development, and Campaign Operations to accelerate our growth strategy through process optimization and cross-functional innovation.

This role requires extensive expertise with marketing technology, particularly Marketo, Salesforce, LeanData, and 6sense.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage marketing operations projects on a global scale, ensuring timely execution and alignment with overall marketing strategy and business objectives.
  • Partner with IT to implement new fields, workflows, and integrations to optimize lead management processes in Salesforce.
  • Be a strategic advisor to Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Sales Development, and Campaign Operations, leveraging subject matter expertise to drive alignment and ensure smooth execution of key growth initiatives.
  • Provide actionable insights into the performance of our lead flows between Marketo, Salesforce, and Leandata, and partnering with the Marketo Admin team to drive optimal flow design.
  • Provide strategic insights into marketing operations performance by analyzing data and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Engage with stakeholders across sales, marketing, and operations to drive independent initiatives that improve processes and results.
  • Partner with Marketing Analytics to operationalize Lead scoring in Marketo, and recommend adjustments to lead scoring to maximize lead routing efficiency.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years in Marketing Operations
  • Established track record leveraging subject-matter expertise to independently drive end-to-end stakeholder engagement on a global scale;
  • Proven self-starter with a passion for optimizing and innovating Marketing Operations processes;
  • Ability to grow, learn, and collaborate in a fast-paced, global environment;
  • Proven experience optimizing lead management processes between Marketo, Salesforce, and Leandata.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
